Getting started

This guide takes you from an empty workspace to outreach landing in the inboxes of your best-fit candidates.

1. Create a role

A role describes the job you're hiring for. Superposition works best when you describe who would thrive on your team, not just the skills but the personality and the values you hire for, then calibrate together against real examples. The more context you give, the better it sources and evaluates candidates.

1. Open Roles and start a new role.
2. Add the title, location, and key requirements (skills, seniority, must-haves).
3. Optionally paste an existing job description, and Superposition extracts the structure for you.

During setup you'll also define your interview stages and connect the tools the role needs (email and calendar). See Interview scheduling.

2. Source and evaluate candidates

Once the role is live, the recruiting agent sources matching candidates and runs a FitCheck on each: an AI evaluation against your role's requirements.

Candidates are tiered by fit level: Bullseye, Fit, and Wildcard. Sort by fit to focus on the strongest matches first, and open any candidate to see the reasoning behind the score.

3. Choose how candidates reach outreach

Each role runs in one of two modes:

• Review First: you approve candidates before any email is sent.
• Full Auto: eligible candidates enroll in outreach automatically.

4. Launch outreach

Approved candidates enter a Headhunting campaign: a personalized, multi-step email sequence. The recruiting agent watches replies: interested candidates move toward scheduling, and you're looped in when a human touch is needed.
