Outreach

Run personalized email campaigns and let the recruiting agent handle replies.

Outreach turns a shortlist into conversations. Superposition runs personalized, multi-step email campaigns and the recruiting agent manages the replies.

Campaign types

  • Headhunting: outbound sequences to sourced candidates. Personalized to each candidate and the role, with AI-optimized follow-up cadence.
  • Inbound scheduling: interview-request emails for applicants, triggered as they move into interviewing.

What makes the outreach personal

The agent doesn't send generic recruiter spam. It writes the kind of email a strong engineer remembers, grounded in real context about your company and the candidate:

  • a one-line founder origin story,
  • your most notable investors,
  • a one-line description of what you do,
  • two examples of traction, with real numbers,
  • what this person would build, and the tools they'd build it with, and
  • a subject line written as a hook, tuned to the candidate.

Because each email is specific rather than templated, Superposition sees an interested response rate around 3x a typical recruiter's baseline. That reaches the senior talent who delete generic outreach on sight.

Review First vs. Full Auto

Each role controls how candidates reach outreach:

ModeBehaviorWhen to use
Review FirstYou approve each candidate before the first emailCalibrating a new role; sensitive searches
Full AutoEligible candidates enroll automaticallyA role you trust and want to run hands-off

You can switch modes at any time. Many teams start in Review First and move to Full Auto once they trust the fit on a role.

How replies are handled

The recruiting agent watches every thread and acts:

  • Interested → moves the candidate toward scheduling (and loops you in when useful).
  • Not interested → logs the reason and stops the sequence.
  • No reply → follows the cadence, then stops.

Replies and notable events surface in Slack so your team stays in the loop without watching inboxes.

Sending email

Outreach sends from a connected sender. Connect a mailbox or use managed delivery. See Email integration.

Candidates who bounce, unsubscribe, or ask not to be contacted are suppressed automatically and won't be emailed again.
