Candidate-specific questions

Superposition prepares questions for each scheduled interview using the candidate's background, role context, application or booking answers, and the stage's goal and scorecard. Each question maps to an assessment, so you know why you are asking it and what evidence to listen for.

Probe what matters for this stage

For a candidate who led a payments rebuild, a technical deep dive might explore a rollout decision or incident response. A collaboration stage can use the same experience to explore how the candidate handled a disagreement.

Questions prioritize assessments tied to Do not evaluate on paper traits when those assessments fit the stage. They ask for observable examples rather than treating a missing résumé claim as a weakness.

Review before you join

Interviewer briefings can include the prepared questions alongside candidate context and the join link, through Slack and email. These briefings can support interviews with other conferencing providers as well as Signal.

Keep the same preparation during the call

Open Interview scorecard → For this candidate in Signal. The panel keeps your questions visible while the candidate sees the call. Use the prepared questions as a starting point and follow up where the answer needs more detail.

When you change the stage

Each scheduled interview keeps its prepared questions. Rescheduling or editing the stage scorecard does not replace that saved set. Check the prepared questions before the call if you recently changed the stage's goal or assessments.

Questions need enough candidate context to be useful. If that context is sparse, use the stage scorecard to guide your preparation.
